Summary
In 1983, James’ life is left to pick up the pieces after his father dies and The Dead Poets Society split up.
“Admirer as I think I am
Of stars that do not give a damn,
I cannot, now I see them, say
I missed one terribly all day.
Were all stars to disappear or die,
I should learn to look at an empty sky
And feel its total dark sublime,
Though this might take me a little time.”— W.H Auden.

Summary
House knows Wilson eats neediness, so when Wilson starts paying extra attention to him, House naturally assumes there's something seriously medically wrong with him.
Because why else would Wilson be making him coffee or touching him so gently and affectionately or being so nice to him?
He's clearly dying.

Summary
Dr. James Wilson sat alone at the dimly lit bar, nursing his scotch as he drowned his sorrows in the aftermath of his recent divorce while holding a file with the papers for the finalisation of his divorce. The weight of his failed marriage, coupled with the alcohol coursing through his veins and the extremely boring medical conference he attended during the day, made him more irritable than usual. He was getting particularly frustrated by the man over by the jukebox who kept playing Billy Joel's 'Leave A Tender Moment Alone'.
(House/Wilson au where they meet and fall in love in New Orleans. Hoping to progress this all the way past canon but we’ll see.)
