Summary
After the events of season 2, the hotel has gained an influx of sinners looking for redemption. A lot more sinners than the hotel was ready to accept. Charlie takes it upon herself to move the hotel staff around to open up a couple of rooms for the time being, forcing Alastor and Lucifer to become roommates. They have no choice but to deal with the feelings they both were desperately trying to keep hidden, while having to deal with jealousy and misunderstandings when their past come back to haunt them (Vox and Lilith).

Summary
In the wake of Vox's failed holy war, the Pride Ring recovers. The Overlords are quiet as mice, sinners are continuing with their lives, the Hazbin Hotel has more guests than ever and the Radio Demon's name is whispered in fear and awe once again. Only this time, it's not for the same reasons as before.
Or: Hell witnessed Alastor break two deals on live television. This has consequences. Cue hordes of sinners coming to him for contract advice. Sometimes not even just sinners.

Summary
Abandoning the comforts of a nobleman’s life—his home, his lands, even his wife—Lucifer set out to sea with a crew of misfits, enthralled by the romance of piracy. He sought adventures that made his heart race: the kind he had glimpsed in the stories his childhood friend Eve once read aloud, the tales Adam had proudly recounted from his naval father, or the distant cities across the sea that Lilith had described with such vivid longing. It was for this possibility, that he chose the ocean.
Alastor, in contrast, went to sea because he saw no other path. He sailed alone. His journey was not guided by longing for adventure, but by the pursuit of a lost treasure. Privilege, dreams worth cherishing, the thrill of discovery, even companionship—none of these had ever been his to claim. For him, piracy was no indulgence; it was necessity, the only road left open.
That was, at least, what he believed—until he met someone.
