Rhys, then Morrigan.
The two must have conspired to put this whole ridiculous plan together to drive him absolutely mad. After that stupid, tipsy solstice kiss he’d shared with Eris, those two bastards had been doing everything in their power to ensure he had to spend time with the Autumn Heir. He’d be left alone with Eris at Rita’s when others would ‘claim’ to be coming any minute now. He was still the only one being sent to consistently meet with Eris. For some odd reason, he’d even been left to babysit Nyx only for Eris to arrive believing that Rhys had called with intel only to end up joining Azriel for the evening.

Summary
Rhysand should have expected today to have some sort of chaos brought to it. Recently life had been too smooth. Life was going well. Feyre was improving as High Lady each and everyday. She grew more confident and the people of their court grew to love her nearly as much as he did. Slowly, but surely life was improving in Illyria. Devlon and him were finally seeing eye to eye, and the older male was doing what he could to enforce the new regimens to the males and females that he watched over. Even the Court of Nightmares was changing. Nowhere near as quickly as anyone would like, but it was changing.
The greatest change to his life though came this morning. He and Feyre had been enjoying a lovely breakfast together on their back patio, enjoying the crisp Autumn morning together before their days.
In those peaceful moments, out of the house runs a small fire-spitting redheaded child.Series

Pulling the one from the middle of the small pile, Eris took the half-hazardly hidden letter out to read, skimming while looking for any keywords relating to Koschei. What he found stopped him in his tracks. Midway through the letter he spotted his name scratched out in a handwriting so familiar to him. His eyes darted to the beginning of the sentence speaking of him. ‘I would shout it from the rooftops if you wished, telling the world that Eris Vanserra is my mate,’ it read.
Ignoring everything else in the letter he looked for who had sent such an outrageous claim. And Eris swore his heart stopped when he read the signature at the bottom of the page.
Written in the messy chicken scratch at the bottom was Azriel’s name.
Eris saw red.
Scooping up the rest of pile of letters out of the drawer and snapping it shut, he found himself winnowing to the Night Court.
He had an overgrown bat to kill.

Even after so many years, it was in the late hours of the night that he felt the most content.
It used to be because the night was the easiest place for him to hide. In the silence of his father’s dungeon, the shadows had found him and chosen him to be theirs. The shadows had been his first friends.
After he was freed, he still loved the nighttime. When the kind Lady of Night had taken him into her family, she’d always stay up with him late into the night when he couldn’t sleep whether it be due to the near constant nightmares or because his little shadow friends just refused to be silent. She would let him sit beside her in the bench seat window while looking out at the stars and moon, often singing or humming until he finally fell asleep.Series
