Marcille ignores him and pushes past Chilchuck to address the team directly, giving up on subtlety. “Laios Touden is joining us from the farm team tomorrow as our new relief-pitcher. I expect you all to make him feel at home here. His sister is also joining us as a member of the athletic training staff. I expect you to treat her with respect while she’s here, is that understood?”
“Yes coach!” The locker room echoes with a dozen voices, most of the team more than a little scared of Marcille.
