Aster: point hope? Thisll be interesting
LFP: I've heard stuff abt that place

LFP: some people saying that if you do some stuff, it gets super creepy and you can see ghosts and stuff
LFP: like the ghosts of everyone drifting above the ocean nearby or smth

Summary
Four adult idiots attempt ghost hunting again. The ghost doesn't care if they're rusty, or if one of them has never done this before. Oh no.
“Soo… how do we play this game again?”
Berry swung her feet absentmindedly, banging them against the glass display case she was sitting on. Beneath her was a multitude of different items and objects, ranging from cameras to weird toys to objects she wasn't really sure had a name.
“Glad you see it that way, Berry,” LFP smirked, her face buried in her copy of the journal each of them carried as she refreshed her mind on all the quirks and tells of different ghosts.
Cube scoffed from where she leant against a wall. “Lauren being all ominous,” she remarked.
“We get in, do a bunch of tests to find out what the ghost is, then get out again, as fast as we can,” Mango explained. She was standing by the location board, a cork board hung on the wall with images of different addresses pinned on them.
“Okay,” Berry sighed, joining Mango by the board. Her eyes scanned the various different houses and buildings. “So which one of these things are we doing then?”

And, well, maybe he liked how Scar looked. Was that such a bad thing?
The curve of his nose, the cut of his jaw, the way his brown hair hung loosely in his green eyes. Eyes that were looking back at him, a smug smile glistening through them. Oh.
“You’re staring.”
Grian tore his gaze away, focussing on his frozen fingers.
“No I’m not.”
A soft chuckle, one so unlike his usual burst of giggles, but so familiar all the same. Grian felt his cheeks grow hot, and he pointedly blamed the fire.

The man hovering over him leaned back, releasing Grian completely. Cold night air rushed in to fill the void.
“I guess it’s out in the open now,” the stranger hummed. “Shame. I wanted to avoid this.”
With the additional glow occupying the space between them, Grian was finally able to catch features that were lost in the prior darkness. His curiosity outweighed all else, and he drank them in greedily. As soon as he saw who sat across from him, alarms blared in his mind.
This man wasn’t a civilian, wasn’t even a hero.
“Hello, Doctor,” the villain mused. “You were quite the help today.”

Grian is a vet. After a chance encounter in the dead of night, during which he accidentally saves a villain from the brink of death, he suddenly finds himself entangled in a world beyond anything he could've ever imagined.

Scar stares at Grian like he’s asked him hold the holy grail, to carry the scriptures of the Western Heavens across continents, to protect the most precious thing imaginable. “Are you sure? I mean— you never let anyone—"
Grian sighs. There’s no other choice, really. Whether or not Scar helps him preen his wings, it’s a bad situation. Vulnerable if he does, vulnerable if he doesn’t.
But at the end of the day, he would rather be vulnerable with Scar.
Scar gets a bunch of sand in Grian's wings, what happens next will shock you.

With Secret Life being over and Scar being crowned as the winner, his memories are back.
Grian had gotten close to him, killed him, and then avoided him like the plague. How that looked to Scar, Grian doesn't even want to know. Hell, he's pretty confident he’d be lucky to get off with just being ignored. In any case, he's pretty sure Scar won't be looking for a confrontation anytime soon.
That being said, Scar’s sudden appearance in their base was not something Grian was expecting.
