Summary
Robert needed some extra money while SDN was funding his mech suit. Luckily, he found a job being a drag queen in a few gay bars around LA, since the area was rife with them. Friday night was usually his busiest. Unfortunately for Robert, that's the same time Flambae and Alice hit the town.

Summary
In his sleep, Robert appears- for once in his life- like he’s not stressed to hell and back. The frown lines on his forehead are smooth and lax, and even the exhausted bruises that paint the skin below his eyes a sickly purple seem diminished in the soothing glow of Chad’s bedside lamp. He’s still scruffy and unfortunately clothed in that hideous uniform, but all that does is add to the reality of Robert being here, safe and comfortable in Chad’s bed.
Without even realizing he’s doing it, Chad reaches out and smooths his hand over the messy puff of Robert’s hair. The other man hums quietly and turns towards the warmth of his palm, and Chad flinches back like he’s somehow, impossibly, been burned. Robert’s face creases into that oh-so familiar frown as if Chad’s touch was wanted in the first place, and a spike of longing spears through him.

Summary
“He’s still fucking mad at me; are you trying to get me killed when I have a headache? I thought we were good, Mal.” Ordinarily, she’d take those words as playful ribbing. Unfortunately, he genuinely seemed to mean it.
“We are good, Robbie, he’s going to help.”
“He’s going to kill me.”
“No. He’d have to go through me.”
“He’s going to put me out of my misery. That’s the only way he can help.”
Mal blinked. “Rob, he was a physiotherapist. You know that, right?”
OR: Rob has a bad pain day right after taco bell night (& identity reveal) and has to spend time in the precarious presence of Flambae in hopes of getting less OW

Summary
Sonar sat at Roberts desk, silently spinning in his chair with Coupé sitting on the dispatcher's desk. It was the day after one of them was supposed to be cut and they…they still couldn’t believe it.
Somebody had stood up for them.
Them.
The bat freak and the ex-assassin.
The ones that made their last dispatcher quiet while crying.
“He actually stood up for us.” Sonar whispered.
“So you have said.” Coupé whispered as well.
