Baizhu war sich schon immer darüber bewusst gewesen, dass Celestia Spaß daran fand ihm das Leben schwer zu machen. Chronisch krank und ohne Familie verbringt der schwächliche Heiler seine Tage in einem kleinen Dorf in Liyue.
Als dann eine scheinbar unheilbare Krankheit ausbricht findet Baizhu sich als Opfergabe für die Meeresgottheit Osial wieder, welcher fanatisch von den Dörflern verehrt wird.
In seiner Verzweiflung betet er zu einer anderen Gottheit, Morax. Und wird erhört.Morax findet schnell Gefallen an dem menschlichen Heiler und es dauert nicht lang bis Baizhu sich gefangen zwischen der ehrlichen Zuneigung und dunklen Obsession des Archon wiederfindet.

Summary
Angels do not lie, and so Morax does not speak when Ajax asks if he finds him comely. He does not protest, either, when Ajax steps into his space. When Ajax leans close and Morax can feel the heat radiating off him, when Ajax spreads his leathery wings just enough to make Morax feel like there is nobody else in the world but them, and that they are not tucked into a side street behind a building of blinding light.

If Cipher acted so fiendishly, then she was a fiend. Aglaea could not differentiate, though she agonized with the incongruences of the past and present. Let nostalgia and fascination turn her diffident.
Cipher could never grant her true relief. Could not tell Aglaea that she’d never changed, that she still wrote their names entwined in every dirt patch she happened upon, that she nabbed cut emerald and thought only of Aglaea’s eyes. That she slept alone and woke often in a fuss, fire between her thighs only quelled by the vivid recall of their last encounter.
Cipher could not tell Aglaea. But she could give her this.
Or, Aglaea had always been a giver; pilfering was Cipher's job.
