The men installed the holocams in Obi-Wan’s office with his full knowledge and explicit permission. He knew exactly where they were. He knew how to disable them, if he so desired. He knew that they were recording at all hours. The men of the 212th could tune into the cams whenever they wanted and see what he was up to. It didn’t bother him. In fact, if he actually needed to focus on his work, he did it in his cabin and avoided his personal office. But the holocams weren’t there simply to check up on him, they had another purpose.
