Summary
“Anish of Sengupta, best of his line, the fairest ruler of all time. With no wife by his side, he shall become his people’s pride.”
Assuming the prophecy means their son will only be a great ruler if he never falls in love, Prince Anish's parents have him hidden away in a walled palace where he is never to learn of love. But when Anish discovers a secret passage that leads to a seaside estate, and a painter named Lucian, he finds himself both entranced and bewildered by the unknown feelings and unnamed emotions his secret friend awakens in him.
Loosely inspired by Washington Irving’s “Legend of Prince Ahmed Al Kamel” or “Pilgrim of Love”

Summary
There was the sound of the gunshot and something like screaming and then... nothing. Or, almost nothing for four months until Nish opens his eyes in a bed at the Hotel Portofino. Awake at last, his troubles are far from over as he’s forced to cope and contend with the life-changing losses he’s incurred, the physical and emotional trials of the recovery ahead, and the guilt he’s slowly being consumed by over the seemingly endless work Lucian has done, and continues to do, to keep him alive. Desperate to see the man he still loves free from the shackles of caring for him, Nish struggles to heal enough for Lucian to let him go and leave him behind, only to discover that Lucian has very different ideas from Nish about what his ideal life looks like.

Summary
Despite the heartache and pain of the decision, Nish takes Gianluca’s advice and returns to the Hotel Portofino and the petty problems of it’s residents, thinking he’ll be there just until the assassination is over. Those plans change drastically when the newspapers report the attack, and the body count it incurred. Suddenly Nish finds himself at a crossroad between politics and love as he tries to both make sense of the violence he helped instigate and forgive Gianluca for the larger role he played in it, all while trying to figure out what he really wants, in life and in love.

Summary
After two years of recovering and hiding in England, Nish is convinced to return to the Hotel Portofino to finally let his friends know what became of him, but the weight of his grief and his guilt start to prove too much for him to bear as he’s forced to face every feeling he’d desperately repressed, including those he discovers he still harbors for Lucian. But, it turns out, this world still holds some surprises for Nish, if only he can find it within himself to really believe he deserves a life of love and joy.

Summary
"So, this was the price for living when he should be dead. He was not the dead version of Nish, nor was he the living, he was instead something that existed in-between, something desperate to remain in this world by any means necessary.
Something that fed on blood."

“I just thought you might go pay a visit," his mother suggested.
“Me?” Q asked, aghast. “Pay a visit?”
“He must be starved for proper gentleman company, now that he’s settled in so far from London--”
“I am far from proper gentleman company.”
“--and perhaps if you befriended him he could introduce you to some nice heiresses.”
“Heiresses?” Q repeated, baffled and horrified. “What in the world would I do with heiresses?”
