It was half-past five in the afternoon when Batman and Superman were hit with the spell that swapped a select handful of Clark’s Kryptonian traits with Bruce’s own too-human powerlessness. Clark lost his speed, his strength, but he kept his flight and X-ray vision. In turn, Bruce could now move faster than he could think. He could lift a boulder without breaking a sweat. His eyes shot out beams so powerful that he blew a hole through the nearest wall and the building behind it.
Worst of all, Bruce could now hear every cry, scream, crash, and pin drop all the way from Texas to Canada.

Tim has been Robin for long enough to know fear toxin protocol like the back of his hand. Keep your rebreather on at all times. If you think you might have been exposed, take the antidote immediately before the effects have time to kick in. They both carry auto-injectors of the antidote in their belts.
It was meant to be Tim who got infected when his rebreather broke in the middle of the gas-flooded space, but Batman is a protector above all. He gave Robin his mask and held his breath for as long as he could. It didn’t take long after that.

And now here Dick is, bringing another child to Wayne Manor as if that place is anything but a glamorized bear trap. If Tim knew the full story, he’d realize why he shouldn’t give a damn about saving Batman because Batman can’t be saved. He doesn’t deserve to be saved. Every instinct in Dick’s body screams at him to turn back and dump Tim on the side of the road. Mostly due to the fact that Tim just keeps yapping.
“There’s a McDonald’s on the highway,” Tim suggests. “I think the McRib is back. Have you tried the McRib?”
Dick pries his gaze off of the road ahead to shoot Tim a glare. “This isn’t a road trip. We’re not stopping for lunch.”

At least until we have the situation under control. Am I understood?”
Biting his tongue until he tastes blood, Dick nods.

It would have been an easy kill, under better circumstances, except Talon didn’t know that his target somehow possessed combat skills that could rival even the oldest and most deadly Talons in the compound. Talon never stood a chance.

“Ya’alright up here?” Jason calls up. A response doesn’t come in a timely manner, causing a perturbed Jason to set aside his book and lit cigarette. There, on the far side of the roof, Tim has his legs dangling off the side, and he’s seemingly doubled over, his arms tightly wrapped around his stomach. “Robin? You okay?” A small well of concern starts to brew in the back of Jason’s mind. Something he didn’t think could even happen.
“I’m fucking peachy, Hood.” Tim retorts, his voice full of contempt. Jason opens his mouth to spit venom at the teen in a joking comeback, but his words are cut off by the audible tightening of Tim’s stomach.
He’s hungry.
Why the fuck is he hungry?
Or
Jason and Tim are stuck together for a stakeout, and after realizing Tim isn’t eating well, the two go down a spiral of pent up emotions which allow some realizations and healing.

“Robin! Go back to the cave with Red! You’re done!” Dick yells before the car peels off.
Tim’s head acts like an echo chamber, repeating Dick’s words. It’s mind numbing. Its overwhelming. It’s… painful.

Dick is grappling with something difficult and takes it out on Tim. Though, Tim just happens to be the perfect person to help him through it.

The unnatural shifts in his words and the variations in pitch being just ever so slightly off putting. Borderline uncanny, yet everyone who’s heard it knows there’s a human behind that voice. A man who choses to blow a hole through someone’s skull without so much of an afterthought.

Not until tonight.
Or, Red Hood is captured, Nightwing saves him and while helping him afterwards, puts the wrong puzzle pieces together and confronts him which does not go quite how he planned.
