Summary
There are many trials for a hobbit attempting to make a life among dwarves. A hobbit wants a garden. A hobbit wants to eat regular meals. A hobbit wants friends, good books, and comfortable chairs. Bilbo does his best to carve out a little hobbit life for himself in the mountain. If only there were not one final obstacle. For a hobbit heart wants love, and among dwarves that is a sticky subject.

Summary
Lin Ling always wanted to be a hero. Even so, there wasn’t really a path for people like him. Gaining trust was difficult, and not just anybody could do it. He certainly didn’t have what it took, and as he settled into his advertising career, he was fine with it. Somebody else could play the part of hero. It wasn’t going to be him.
Eventually, one of his clients walked off a roof. Miss J showed up, bodyguards in tow, to the site of Nice’s demise. And he was the only one left.
