Summary

Feng Xin and Mu Qing are thus tasked to accompany Xie Lian to track down the ghost who cast this curse and reunite His Highness with the other half of the cursed couple. Speaking of, who the hell even is this San Lang?
Or: People are always so fast to assume Hua Cheng must’ve cursed Xie Lian for the latter to fall for a Ghost King, so what happens when the two are actually cursed to be in love? It changes absolutely nothing and everything at the same time. "I don't want your suggestions, I already have a beloved," Hua Cheng said, his tone sounding more annoyed, and Xie Lian too sighed heavily. This conversation again…
"Ah, so it is true! I thought it was just rumors going around. But do we know her? How could we make sure you're not making this up to get off the hook?" The lady pushed, and Xie Lian couldn't let this keep going any longer. Just as he was about to say something, Hua Cheng spoke up.
"My beloved is-" Hua Cheng cut himself off with a hand up to covering his mouth, holding onto it tightly.
Before, when Hua Cheng had talked about his past and those few other comments he made, he looked surprised that he'd said them at all. Now, he looked terrified.
"Something is definitely wrong" Xie Lian thought.
Or: Hua Cheng accidentally drinks a truth serum and a lot of things he meant to keep hidden come to light.

Danny Phantom died in a lab accident. This is fairly common knowledge, considering his attire, but Maddie didn't make the connection until she overheard him talking about it with some of the other ghosts. Then she notices how much he looks like Danny. How much he sounds like him. How similar their mannerisms are, and their habits, and their sense of humor.
Unfortunately, she still manages to come to some slightly wrong conclusions.

Bruce is brave and Cassandra has integrity, but Bruce thinks that he has the right and wrongs figured out, thinks that he has infinite wisdom tucked under his tongue but Cass knows that she has hard-earned feelings in the pit of her stomach, thinks that she has deserved the right to say that she is not brave anymore.
Cassandra isn’t like Dick or Stephanie, she can’t smile and charm her way into people’s hearts and like it, she can’t make people feel good by just being around them and still be dangerous. She is not a wolf in sheep’s clothes, she is a wolf with matted fur, feeling bare and vulnerable and impenetrable. She can tear people down whenever she needs, and do nothing to build them up.
And that is something she would always feel angry about.
See, Cassandra built herself up on warm days, not on anger.
