Summary
The bad guys have a new plan to remove Satoru Gojo from the world. If they can't kill him, and they can't imprison him, then obviously they must turn him into a cat so that he will stop being a nuisance.
Unfortunately, Utahime is the first to stumble into this carefully laid trap and immediately sets about proving just how troublesome one unlucky black cat can be. The key to becoming human again seems to lie with Gojo (literally), but now the race is on to break her curse, save Gojo from the same fate, and hopefully avoid eating any mice along the way.

Summary

He can't decide whether the guy is a delightful asshole in name and face, or a subtly distant person that measures up when he's needed. Utahime Iori lives a peaceful life as a teacher at a private religious school. She's considering a more pious path, but for now, she's content to work with her students, a handful of very interesting if not difficult eight-year-olds. When she meets with the legal guardian of one of her students, she's positive that Satoru Gojo, handsome and charming as he seems to be, is hiding a few secrets.
Unfortunately for her, it turns out the secret is that Gojo is, in fact, a demon, who has been charged with watching over and influencing the kids in her class, who are apparently destined to either make or break the world. Even worse, he's very eager to sink his teeth in her, and Gojo has a penchant for helping people, especially pretty and faithful women, fall from Grace. This is not the job either of them wanted, but they're in this together, whether she likes it or not.

She turned, grateful to hear her friend’s familiar voice, but stopped herself before she could rush into her arms like she usually did.
Because standing in the doorway next to the girl who ran off earlier was Shoko. It couldn’t have been anyone else but Shoko. But Shoko was all wrong.
Whatever hopes Utahime had of being pranked were dashed. Shoko wasn’t as she left her three days ago. No one’s hair grew that much in three days. She was taller, obviously older, a deepset weariness in her eyes.
And her own reflection sealed the deal. She turned her head to look in the mirror once again. Ignoring the scar — which was impossible, seeing as how it took up half her face — even she was different. Her hair was longer, her bangs grown out, her brows fuller, her cheeks and chin sharper. It wasn’t just Shoko. She was older too.

So when Wei Wuxian acted like he wanted to stay, it turned everything upside-down.
