Season Two Rewrite. Two weeks after coming back from his time with The Doctor and Martha and the fallout from The Year That Never Was, Captain Jack Harkness and the Torchwood team have a startling encounter with The Rift, and what falls through it. Not an alien or a spaceship, but a companion of the Eleventh Doctor, now apparently marooned in a time that is not her own, and not even her own planet.
Since she's not a regular companion: she's from an alternate universe where they're all characters from one of her favourite shows.
As the team adapt to a new dynamic and Poppy comes to terms with the changes in her life, it might turn out that this is where she was always supposed to be -so she can stop it all from going wrong.
And maybe fall in love, somewhere along the way.
