Summary
After seeing his parents die.
After one of his best friends tries to lie.
Left to the ice, drowing in his own blood.
Tony wonders if this time is it?
Because he's so tired.
Then footsteps seemingly appear from nowhere.
With a little help, Tony remembers. Remembers other lives. Remembers his duty to the Balance. Thanos risks that Balance once again. In working to defend earth, build his forces and maybe actually have a little fun along the way. If Fate would stop throwing complications at him, that would be nice.
Prompt - Why does Tony hate magic?
More in notes. Updates twice a week schedule as chapters are longer now.

Summary
When a field trip to Stark Industries ends in disaster, Roger Harrington finds himself faced with an impossible choice. Suddenly, Tony Stark is shoving an NDA in his face while Peter Parker stares at him with terrified, desperate eyes. Nothing in his 13-year teaching career could have prepared Harrington for this, but he knows one thing for sure: ten years ago, he'd stared down into the sightless eyes of a seventeen-year-old girl, and he'd sworn to himself that he would never again lose another student. He's going to do everything in his power to keep that promise now…even if it costs him everything.
Set during and post Spider-Man Homecoming. A realistic field trip story that also explores the long-term consequences of trauma and responsibility, written by a real-life teacher.

The best field trip story I've ever read. Written by a teacher, seen from Mr. Harrington's pov. Amazing character development.

Sometimes being an Avenger can be really awesome, and sometimes not so much. In Peter Parker's case he strikes out more often than he lucks out. Life has its perks and its downfalls.

Summary
Peter didn't know when he started relying so heavily on his unhealthy coping mechanisms to make it through the day, but what he does know is that people finding out can only end badly - or so he thinks. When Tony finds out, Peter thinks his world is about to end, but maybe this is the second chance he needs to become what Tony always wanted him to be: better.
