Summary
Hi! I am a writer who really wanted to write this story but I hate every character I come up with so in order to get this out there I decided to find a character I thought was most similar to the one I was trying to write and that did end up being Castiel. After deciding he was the character I wanted to use I realized that it would be really interesting to explore how his experiences, which seem foriegn and otherworldy, are actually not very far off from the way that I've, and I'm sure many other girls, have felt throughout their lives and most specifically, his difficulty adapting to humanity is not unlike the transition from childhood into girlhood.
So yeah um... I've only ever written fanfiction for my friends so I'm not entirely sure if this is going to be good. Please cut me some slack, I am still learning how to write fiction. Chapter 1 will be more of a prologue if you want a better idea of what my writing will look like.

The exchange was commonplace: the perfect, mundane harmony of their unconventional family. Tony, who worried about Peter’s metabolism and patents; Pepper, who managed a global company and their family's schedule with equal, terrifying competence; Peter, who brought home soot and A-pluses; and Morgan, the tiny, terrifying CEO-in-training who kept them all honest.

-ଘCastiel was on him in a second, her hands pulling Dean's sleeve up to envelop around the wound which he didn't even bother to patch up. Dean felt a warmness emerge from her and his injury as a yellow-orange light emitted from her hands. This warmness flooded him, he felt as though all was right for a grand total of five seconds until she was done.
And in those five seconds, he admired her. Castiel's gorgeous face, particularly her eyes which shone with all the innocence an angel would have.
