Summary
Finn collects Fern's shredded body after his arm mishears him in his want to just go home together, and never one for reading is left ignorant of the grass blade's demon contract and its terms, unknowingly burying Fern alive. Fern reforms and takes off to the Nightosphere to find himself after being forced to confront what he is. The comic starts with him reappearing six years later, much to the annoyance of Huntress Wizard, Finn's casual hook up and confidant.
This uses stuff from Keep Yourself Redux but it's not required reading. The characters are the same though, they just branch off at different points.

Summary
Dennis's first Holiday as a resident doesn't exactly turn out how he hoped. But neither did his first day. It's only been 10 months since Pitt-fest, 10 months since he started living with Trin, 10 months since he met Dr. Robby. His slightly toxic, horribly attractive attending. He convinces himself it's a professional crush, an admiration, until Dr. Robby is set to leave for three months.
After a hard shift and a drunken confession, he's entrusted with the task of pet-sitting. Without his favorite attending and this newfound responsibility, he turns to a slightly more stable attending. Who misses Dr. Robby just as much as he does.
