Summary
Like many others, I was severely disappointed in the character butchering of Jaime Lannister, especially in regards to his complete out of character behavior regarding Brienne, Tyrion, and Cersei. What follows is how I would have written their endings, without changing the rest of the story. It begins at the latter half of Season 8, Episode 4, and continues through Episode 6. To me, this is how it all SHOULD have gone down. I hope you enjoy!

Summary
How do you go from heartbreak to healing, and then end up sharing far more than just a carriage with Colin Bridgerton? After an evening she'd rather forget, Penelope has to re-evaluate her own actions, the relationship with her best friend and any dreams she might have harboured about a future with the man she loves. The only danger of crushed hopes is a certain recklessness and perhaps a failure to notice that while your own feelings might remain the same, those of others might change.
This is my vision of the Colin/Penelope arc for the coming seasons. It is an attempt to salvage and maintain the integrity of the characters, while finding a satisfying resolution for the dilemmas they find themselves in, and a way for their love and burning need for each other to make sense and set fire to our screens.
