Summary
“I'm really sorry Tsum-kun, because you're really really great and really pretty—
“Aw, thanks Shoyo!” Atsumu says beaming.
“But um I can't date you! Because I'm already with someone,” Hinata blurts out, covering his face with his hands. After a minute of silence, he peeks through his fingers.
Miya Atsumu stands there gaping— Aw, Hinata thinks, I should have been more sensitive—
“Um, Shoyo-kun,” Atsumu-kun begins sounding strangled, “I wasn't, I mean—I'm so sorry if I—I'm already—
“This is why I told you to stop flirting with people.”
Sakusa Kiyoomi's voice sounds cold as ice as he wraps an arm around the setter's waist and glares at Hinata.
Hinata stares at the hand gripping Tsumu-kun's waist, possessively, then Sakusa-san's face. Then the hand and then face again.
Oh no he thinks, feeling utterly and completely mortified, oh no. Oh no no no no.
Or,
The five times people are shocked to find out that Sakusa Kiyoomi and Miya Atsumu are dating and the one time they aren't.

Summary
Atsumu rushes out of the bathroom, almost face planting on the slippery tiles, and frantically dials his brother’s number.
The moment his twin picks up, he says,
“I think I have a crush on Omi-kun.”
Atsumu can hear Samu rolling his eyes. “Congratulations on yer gay awakenin’,” he drawls sarcastically and for once, Atsumu doesn’t snap anything back at him because he’s still freaking out.
____
Miya Atsumu has never loved anything more than volleyball. He doesn't think he ever will. Sakusa Kiyoomi might just prove him wrong.

Summary
Just as he's about to start panicking and checking if Suna is sick—partially out of concern for his friend, and partially because Osamu does not like having to take down two sets of notes, one set is already a pain enough—Suna sits up, propping his chin on his hands. He glances around inconspicuously to check their surroundings before looking straight at Osamu and sticking his tongue out.
His tongue, with a singular bulb stuck in the centre, right at the midline.
A piercing.
Osamu's throat goes dry.
or, suna gains a tongue piercing, and osamu gains a crisis

Summary
Here's the thing. Suna and Osamu are not dating. They are simple roommates in university, because rooming with someone you know is always marginally better than rooming with a stranger, and Atsumu says they're kind of co-dependent but it's whatever, and there is no reason for Suna to be bringing home a bouquet of flowers right now.
Except, despite the fact that they've not even gone on a date (because there is no reason to, obviously), they have crossed many… boundaries that most people who consider themselves platonic friends would not cross. Boundaries such as seeing each other naked and hands roaming bare skin and being inside each other, but that's a minor detail.
or, it's not weird to give your fuckbuddy flowers on valentine's day. is it?
