This is a bit Alternate Universe – based on the idea that Michael suffered a lot of trauma over his time as Michael Knight, and Bonnie and Devon didn’t always seem to acknowledge that. What if Kitt was the only one to notice his human needed more than a job and a new face, and stepped up to give it to him? Also I play fast and loose with the Team Knight Rider people a bit too, but that’s at the end of this thing (it’s the fic that wouldn’t die!)

Takes place after Optimus had fallen at the hands of Megatron, sort of a rewrite of what happened before/leading up to the events happening in Egypt. Mikaela and Leo aren’t there in the car with Bumblebee, instead, they had gotten out of the car when (I think) Grindor had nabbed the car with them all inside.
