It was there, just a stone’s throw away. Shang Qinghua’s breath was shuddery and weak, shallowly entering and leaving his chest. His palms were sweating, so he swiped them on his pants a few times. It wasn’t effective, but Shang Qinghua didn’t try any more. He pushed himself through the underbrush and crawled forward.
And there it was, lying in a small patch of grass. A dragon.

When Shang Qinghua was just a boy, he met a dragon, but not long after, they were separated. Shang Qinghua never stopped looking. Neither did Mobei Jun.

Gaara comes to miss his company, and comes up with a plan- a plan to lure Naruto to pledge his loyalties to Suna, where, according to the Sand Siblings, he really belongs. Featuring eventual Suna-nin!Naruto. No romance.
