The only remaining option was to deflect the question entirely, turning this conundrum back onto his friend and letting her dictate where the conversation went from here. 'Are you?'
Susie laughed. 'Oh, hell no. But I'm asking about you, dumbass.'"

Summary
Ragatha had been in the Circus for far longer than most of the others assumed. Nobody ever truly cared beyond what they assumed, so the members never put too much thought into it. Ragatha could still remember her first day, years ago. One of the older members, who’s face she was slowly forgetting by now, found her stumbling around one of the hallways of the circus and took her in almost like a parent, while the rest became like a family. Back then, everyone was pretty close. Despite the whole thing, Ragatha felt.. happy, almost. Happy to get away from the past, happy to get something akin to a break from real life.
But then members started abstracting, her little found family being exchanged for people who little by little kept more and more closed off, friendship and companionship burning out with every new candle on the little altar she kept on one of the shelves in her room, made up with the deliberate look of mere decoration. Each candle was for one of her friends, each candle she picked out especially for each passed member.
(In which an unlucky adventure set on an unlucky day makes Ragatha once again grieve what she used to have)

What does it mean to be the host of the Absolute Solver?
Uzi is going to find out, and while she is initially annoyed and resentful of the inclusion of someone she thought they got rid of, it's nice not being alone in finding out.
She doesn't know how she's supposed to live with this, though.
Uzi is finding out very quickly that Cyn wasn't completely to blame, and if she isn't careful, history might repeat itself.
