Summary
There’s a bout of heavy blue silence between the two.
“I don’t feel like a good doctor.” Dennis whimpers.
Wrapping an arm around him, Robby squeezes him in an inch closer. “That’s not true. You’re a good doctor. You’re doing a good job.”
The words are clear and certain, hitting Dennis square in the chest, right where he needs to feel it. He revels in the comfort for a moment. He doesn’t know if he believes it, but he settles the words in his head like a truth.

Dennis has a terrible shift in the ER, and Robby comforts him.
