Summary
Dick Grayson becomes an older brother, quite suddenly, just over three months after his fifteenth birthday.
The sleeping toddler in his father’s arms looks generally unaware of his whereabouts and the changes in surroundings as he curls in on himself, looking cold in the thin, muted green onesie that’s a bit too big for him. Bruce, still in his Batman suit bar the cowl, looks more shocked (and grief stricken, if Dick’s properly learnt his father’s minuscule expressions and what they mean) rather than looking fond or happy. He’s sitting in the pivot chair he usually uses when he’s on the batcomputer, but he’s facing away from the monitors and looking at Dick now, sitting on a spare chair in front of him.
“A… brother,” Dick repeats, carefully. “A baby brother.”
or
Talia gives Damian to Bruce when he's one and a half years old. This one decision leads to a series of fortunate (or unfortunate, depending on who is looking at it) events that speeds up the 'accidental' acquisition of the rest of Dick Grayson's siblings. Mostly, though, it just makes Damian and Dick (as well as the others) closer.
Well.
At least Dick has his bigger family sooner.

There had been surprise when “Todd” softened into “Jason,” a reluctant acknowledgment of brotherhood. A small miracle when “Drake” became “Timothy,” and eventually just “Tim,” the name spoken with familiarity instead of distance.
Each name change marked growth, healing, and acceptance. Each one was noticed, cataloged, and quietly treasured by the family.
But no one was prepared for the day Damian stopped saying “Father.”
No one was ready for the moment the word “Bruce” slipped out instead.

It was a novelty, to not have a single person walking around, a novelty that Tim would trade in a thousand times if it meant getting his brother better and faster help. As it was, Tim could only do damage control.
Damage control and soft, calming reassurances because at some point tears had started spilling down Damian’s face and Damian does not cry often.
Unlike Damian’s ribs, one of his shoulders were clearly misaligned. The sooner it was set the better but his hand still had a pulse which meant for now it wasn’t actually the next priority.
Tim’s knees were drenched in Damian’s blood but he shoved away the sensation, wasting a moment instead on combing a hand through Damian’s hair.
As Tim watched, Damian’s chest stuttered.

"Robin!" Jason's voice bellowed, gun already drawn and pointed at Michael. How could Damian let his guard down and not notice the man pulling a knife?!
It only took Damian a split second to realize what was going on, and before Jason could pull the trigger, he called out, "Red Hood, no!" and, pushing his feet off the ground to throw himself in front of Michael.
A gunshot rang through the air, and a painful grunt left Damian's lips as his body was thrust back from the force of the bullet, and a searing pain flashed through his veins.
Jason's eyes widened when he realized, and his gun clattered to the ground. No!, he thought. That—That couldn't be! Why did Damian do that? Jason couldn't quite finish his thoughts before he raced over to where Damian was lying, hand clutched to his shoulder.

Death wasn't something Damian was worried about .Not when he couldn't die. But holding secrets from his family, who paint him as reckless and too abrasive, is bound to pile up till it explodes. And of course, it starts and ends with Damian dying. Oh, and Jon's there too. Damian blames the start of his unraveling as Jonathan's fault. But, to be fair, its really not as bad as it seems. For Damian at least.

In his home country, Damian was familiar with receiving punishments for his actions. He knew what the repercussions were for sloppiness in his hand-to-hand combat, or miscalculations in his arithmetics. He made improvements based on this feedback. He liked knowing exactly what he needed to do.
With Bruce, however, there is nothing to build on. There is retribution, but not any chances for improvement.
It unravels Damian. He can deal with many things, but not this. He can take anger, but this is indifference.
In his first year as Robin, Damian struggles. Not with his training or his academics, but with a hurdle much more formidable: his relationship with the people who are supposed to be his family.
