The smirk on her face grew, but she humored him. “It depends on the way you bet. If you’re at a normal table, you’re out of luck. But if Hua Cheng is in, the bets he takes rarely have anything to do with money.”
“Hua Cheng?”
At his confused look, she outright laughed. “Oh boy, you’re in for it.”

Devastated from the tragedy that befell the small farming village where he lived, Xie Lian travels to Ghost City to ask for help at the Gambler’s Den. What he doesn't expect is for their lord to continue to follow him around, even when Xie Lian’s business in the city is complete.

Summary
It wasn’t that Xie Lian had never wondered what it would be like to switch positions and be the one to give pleasure to Hua Cheng. He pondered it many times, but when the mood struck, things always happened so fast that, before he knew it, they were heading down the usual route and, truth to be told, he was not complaining. Now that he properly entertained the idea, however... It was becoming quite obvious to him that Hua Cheng had always enjoyed Xie Lian’s more dominant side, being very eager to sink to his knees and worship him as his lowly servant and most devout follower. At first Xie Lian froze up at that treatment, uncomfortable with his lover placing himself below him in any way. He wanted no kneeling and certainly no worship, instead wishing to uplift Hua Cheng and make him realise he was equal to him in every possible way, but…
But.

Faced with some (in retrospect, not that surprising) truths about his lover, Xie Lian decides to venture outside of his comfort zone.
