One name selected by chance, one unlucky Sacrifice would ensure everyone else’s safety from the curse’s wrath. Keep its malevolent Hunger at bay.

And yet, when Dunk’s heard his friend’s name be called, he knew he couldn’t let her venture into those wretched woods alone to face a fate that would surely lead to nothing short of a gruesome death. If he had to slay the Monster himself, he would not shy away from the task.
