Summary
Perhaps when Aventurine woke up with a dry cough and a headache that could only be compared to getting hit multiple times in the cranium with a baseball bat full of nails, he should have just called in sick and stayed home.
It was his first thought as he got out of bed, muscles aching as if he ran a marathon even though his physique was laughably unequipped for that sort of exercise, but duty calls.
His duty obviously being his stupid fucking job, of course.
OR
Even fortune's favorite has his off-days sometimes. While Aventurine doesn't see anything wrong with showing up to work with a little cold, it becomes quite apparent that only he thinks that this ailment of his is considered little. Fortunately, while he may not be the best at taking care of himself, everyone else seems more than willing to pick up the slack (including his three cat cakes.)
