"Webs has been suspiciously easy to find lately. Wade's trying not to read too much into it.
(Pbbbbtttt, yeah right. Oh, baby is he reading into it alright, he's reading hard, he's reading like it's 3am and he's half-way through a smokin' hot long fic, red-eyed and chubbed up.)"

Summary
He is not a good man.
Never claimed to be.
Maybe that's why he can tell with such perfect clarity that Cole is a prick: takes one to know one.
Maybe it’s why things happen the way they do (somewhere between lucky and fucked): Ghost deserves it for being a fucking prick, too.
------ ------ ------ ------ ------ ------
Or:
An old friend of Soap’s causes new problems for Ghost (if covertly watching one’s flirty subordinate get plowed—poorly—over a bathroom sink can be said to be a problem). They work it out in the end.

Love their developing relationship at the start, Soap catches him early in the cafeteria to make his tea. Wholesome ending. Good read

Summary
Soap and Ghost have an arrangement. It's not sexual. Though Soap isn’t sure exactly what it is. Whatever his lieutenant needs to do to get his head right is his own business, and Soap, ever-eager to be of use to the man, will help however he can. Even if that’s by wearing women’s panties under his tactical gear and letting Ghost pull him aside during missions to inspect it.

Summary
There’s a teddy in Soap’s bed; a beaten-up, old brown bear. Well-loved, if the state of the fur is any indication. Ghost lets out a choked laugh, mostly at his own expense. He wishes he was there, suddenly, wishes he was by Johnny’s side as he walked through the doorway and realised that his childhood room was waiting for him like a time capsule. Wishes he got to see the embarrassed scrunch of his face, the way the tips of his ears would flush red.
Soap has a whole second life, outside of the SAS. He’s got a mother, and a poorly-decorated bedroom, and a bear. All Ghost has is a flat that will be the same it is today as it will be the day he dies, like he was never even here at all.

Summary
Sergeant John "Soap" MacTavish is declared K.I.A during a failed recon mission in 2017. His commanding officer, Captain John Price, takes the loss personally but has no other choice then to move on. He creates Task Force 141, keeps the bad guys scared of the dark, and hunts Makarov relentlessly - the man who killed his sergeant all those years ago.
Five years later, Price fights an assassin with a familiar face.
Spectre-07 doesn’t remember anything. Maybe he had once, but years of conditioning have stripped his mind bare, save for the instinct to kill. It's all he knows, all he craves; the blood of his target between his fingers, at the end of his scope or along the blade of his knives. He's a cold-blooded, empty headed machine, and he doesn't hesitate.
Until he does.

Well written with good dialogue, especially from Makarov during Soap's torture. Moments so soft shadowed by some other fairly brutal moments

Summary
“Ghost?”
“Soap.” Ghost’s voice was a low buzz, gravelly with static. In the absolute silence of the snow-covered forest, it sounded both deafeningly loud and intimately quiet.
“What’s your favourite season?” Soap asked.

This was so fuckin good, literally each chapter was such a great read. The dialogue was perfect and the delivery of Ghosts jokes had me rolling + the artwork was beautiful!! Loved each season, how at first it's Soap learning bits about Ghosts lore, loved the action inbetween. The flowers at the end killed me off completely. Awesome read

Just finished my reread and this will always be my top fav. Its so perfect, literally hooks me in every time. It's just so well written and it's real as hell. I love Ruth and Jessie, love simple Greg and his estate agency job, love Jack and Elaine and Caro, Aggie and little Frank. Even Granda, literally have no idea what that guy was saying, just that fionn is blonde and conies are rabbits, maybe???? Absolutely love wonderful Alice. John's ups and downs are also real as hell and raw as fuck, and this is one of my fav characterisations on Simon Riley
I love how well connected the story is, its one I have to read slow, truly savour each word and minute I spend reading. I'll always come back to this story, don't think I could ever forget it. Just honestly has me overwhelmed

Summary
Wade scoffs, shaking his head and elbowing Peter in the side. “Sure,” he says, sarcastic. “That’s why your spidey-sense doesn’t see me.”
Peter’s on the verge of laughing, wanting to join Wade in his amusement, but he freezes. His entire body goes still. He finds himself staring at a roof three buildings over, not even looking at anything. Two blocks away, a car alarm finally shuts off.
“I never told you that,” Peter says, the realization startling him.
Or: Peter's starting to realize just how much Wade knows about him.

Summary
Spider-Man has been missing for close to three years now, and without the protection of everyone’s favorite web slinger, the city of New York has quickly overflowed with crime.
Deadpool, having worked with Spider-Man on more than one occasion, knows with absolute certainty that Spidey would never abandon the city without a good reason. He’s been searching high and low for the arachnid the past three years, and the only lead as to where Spider-Man could have wandered off to is his apparent friend and personal photographer, Peter Parker.

Bookmarker's Notes
This is well written, fun with a good plot. I love the dialogue between Peter & Wade, especially in the later chapters - they've got a v natural dynamic that works so well for their characters in this.
