A lone figure stood in front of a beautiful, towering building. Dread curled tightly in his stomach, heavy and insistent.
His new college.
It really was beautiful. The Victorian-style architecture rose proudly against the sky, all sharp angles and elegant curves, with multiple towers and narrow balconies that looked like they belonged in another century. A copper-tiled roof caught the light, dulled by age but still warm in color. Massive oak trees surrounded the campus, their branches stretching wide as if to shelter it. The few orange and yellow leaves clinging stubbornly to the limbs swayed softly in the wind, fluttering down now and then to crunch beneath passing feet.

"Bro, this isn't funny. I'm serious," Wemmbu exclaimed, looking himself up and down in the mirror.
"I hate the veil's color, man. It looks like I'm about to be married off by you," he said exasperatedly, picking at it.
"Stop complaining. You didn't tell me what color you'd prefer," Egg retorted, adjusting the veil on Wemmbu's head to better conceal his horns before adding a crown.
"You look pretty in it, so stop yapping," Egg complimented, staring at Wemmbu.
"Dude, I'm supposed to be a vigilante, not a cute bride."
"I didn't say you looked like a bride, by the way. Are you suggesting you want to look like a bride?"
"No—ugh."
"Honestly, it's your fault for letting me dress you."
"Honestly, let's just go. We can buy a new one tomorrow. I want to test out my powers on some thugs," Wemmbu said with a smirk.
"That's the spirit, man! Also, don't forget the voice-changing masks"
