Summary
The air up here was disrespectful.
That was the first thing Kip Grady noticed when he stepped out of his dad’s beat-up Honda Civic. The air in Brooklyn had texture. It had weight. It smelled like hot asphalt, exhaust fumes, and the specific, comforting garbage funk of a Tuesday afternoon. You knew where you stood with Brooklyn air.
The air here—four hours north, deep in the "Upstate" wilderness of the university—was suspicious. It was too thin. It smelled like pine needles and aggression. It smelled like people who hiked for fun.

Summary
A collection of kink parts for my BDSM universe featuring Dom Eddie and sub Buck. The parts are out of timeline order and some feature some pretty intense or more extreme BDSM themes.
This series all also features a couple of reappearing original characters, a Domme called Dawn and her submissive husband named 'bitch' (the use of a lower case b for his name is intentional to show his position). This couple have a more extreme 24/7 full time D/s dynamic but the regularly play with Buck and Eddie.

Summary
At that, Evan remembered he hadn’t given—'Chimney ‘I’ll tell you what it means later’—his own name.
“Uh my names…”
He trailed off, Chimney raising a brow his direction, voice teasing.
“Is it a hard one kid?”
He sighed, shaking his head; the guy was only kidding, but Evan really didn’t know what to say; he was so tired of being who he was.
Thankfully, they came to a large room then, all of them filing in with silence. Officers and officials stood at the front, no doubt already assessing them all. Evan focused his attention ahead, taking a seat between Chimney, and the woman with the bright smile. The bunk stealer sat just across from them, Evan determined not to give the guy the satisfaction of staring, no matter how infuriatingly gorgeous the guy was.
“Out of the 39,000 men and women who make up the United States Coast Guard, there are only 280 rescue swimmers. This is because we are the Coast Guard’s elite. We are the best of the best.”
Evan wanted to be one of the best. All he’d wanted his entire life was to be enough; he was tired of being a constant disappointment.

Summary
“Eat.” His tone is gentle, but there’s an undertone to it, one that Eddie knows well. It’s a firmness, something akin to a hand pressing down on the back of his neck.
“C’mon, man—”
A hand lands on Eddie’s other shoulder, thumbs pressing into Eddie’s shoulder blades, working in small, tight circles.
Eddie’s lashes flutter, a soft exhale escaping him.
“Come on, half the bowl. I know you didn’t eat breakfast, and lunch won’t be ready for another thirty.” Buck’s voice is edged with concern, and leaves very little space to argue. It’s only after Buck points it out that Eddie realises how hungry he is.
Suddenly, thumbs shift, pressing into the spot just at the base of his neck where he always holds a lot of tension, the muscles taut and straining with stress.
Another soft noise escapes Eddie. A part of Eddie wants to argue, but a shameful, insistent part of him is so grateful not to have to decide. He didn’t have to decide to eat, didn’t have to decide what to eat, how much to eat, or when his next meal would be.
All Eddie has to do is relax under Buck’s hands and pick up a piece of fruit.

Summary
“My mom said, uh, that his name was Buck. That he was going to go to the fire academy and that he had a—” she broke off, rubbing her own forehead, exactly where his skin went pink. “She said he went by Firehose.”
Buck didn’t need all of his coworkers to look at him in alarm; he was pretty sure he’d gone deadly pale. His daughter knew four things about him, and one of them was his old tinder profile handle. He felt a little like he was going to die.
“She’s got your eyes,” Eddie commented, unhelpfully.
----
Buck finds out he has a daughter, and also a stupidly big crush on his best friend. It's an adjustment.
