Summary
after performing in front of 65,000 people in mexico city, the cameras are turned off and the adrenaline fades . tyler is exhausted, sentimental, and unexpectedly softer than usual, leaving josh to carry him up to their hotel room. blurry paint wiped away, a freezing (but comforting) room, and gentle chin scratches later, the two crash finally crash and fall asleep tangled up together beneath crisp hotel sheets.
they don’t even bother using the other bed in room.

Summary
All things considered, going to a basement show the Sunday night before classes start for the semester isn’t exactly the brightest idea Josh has ever had, but he turns up anyway in hopes of discovering some new local bands to enjoy. He expects the usual: decent enough bands, a sweaty basement full of moshing, and the like. What he doesn't expect, however, is the first band of the night. From the moment twenty one pilots starts playing, he knows he's hooked. A conversation with the singer, who Josh finds himself connecting with instantly, leads to them going home together. But what will Josh do when he realizes Tyler told him to text him, but he never gave him his number. Will he ever see him again? Or will he be doomed to just listening to the band's only release on repeat while he mourns what could've been?
