Summary
I clicked on the stream because of the name on the screen—
Magnus Carlsen sitting beside Hikaru Nakamura.Only one voice could be heard.
The other moved his hands in silence—
sometimes fast, sometimes slow.At times, the voice stopped—
the two of them held each other’s gaze,
and the hands kept moving. There were no translations.
No explanations. The chat scrolled by in a blur.
Everyone kept asking what they were talking about.I watched those hands—
and felt that—Maybe the answer was never meant for us in the first place.

Summary
“Not good?” Magnus panted, teasing, at Hikaru’s scrunched-up face as he got up from the floor.
“Well,” Hikaru rasped with a fucked-out voice, “it’s an acquired taste, and I’ve lost the acquisition.”
Magnus kicked him in the shins. “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder,” he said with a smirk.
“...What?”
“The taste of come is in the palate of the–” he waved his hand, “the– fucking hell. I don’t know. Nevermind.”
