Solitude, while spoken of as a misfortune, was a condition Andrew had long since accustomed himself to. He made peace with the absence of intimate affection, which he believes he was not designed to handle nor deserve. Not with his looks, condition and lack of grace.
Yet this conviction did not stop him from writing to his pen pal with all the zealousness of a man with a heart ready to burst at a moment’s notice. Summary
It’s been a year since the manor closed.

Against his will, Joseph must return to the city to run some errands. But between the snowy weather and chaotic crowds, he finds a familiar face, the face that haunts his guilty conscious. Together, the two of them learn to trust again, while fighting the shame of their authentic selves. (18+)
