Summary
The humans were rebuilding again, or maybe destroying something new, Owen didn’t know, didn’t care. What mattered was that he couldn’t find Legs anywhere. His favorite human. No, not his human. The doctor. He wasn’t supposed to think of him that way.
Still, he missed the steady sound of his voice, the rustle of papers, the scent of pine and herbs clinging to his clothes. He’d gotten used to it without realizing.

I have been inspired by lovely @gh0stlyscooter's art (on Tumblr) of Owen as a bat sleeping on Legs's head and wrote something something off of it.

Summary
Despite Legundo's best efforts, Oakhurst falls. Not with explosions or angry fire, but quietly. Like the rain or a fog rolling in. As one of its last residents, Legundo is harmed and left dying. Only Owen won't let him.

Summary
The scrape of gravel and too-dry dirt were muffled against the furious pounding in his head, cruelly mimicking that of the doctor's own heartbeat. One he'd came to recognise, now twisted and abnormal. Scared. Pulse rapidly accelerating, as though the doctor had only just realised the sheer incomprehensible vastness of the danger he'd willingly dropped himself into.
Owen couldn't lose the last part of Him.

Legs offers Owen a cure. Owen doesn't react too well to such a proposal.
