It’s like Reigen’s been waiting for the question. He stops dead on the pavement, grips Mob by the shoulders, and stares down into his eyes with an expression as haunted as though every ghost the pair of them has ever exorcised has taken up residence behind it. “Mob,” he says. “Mob,” he says again. “Tell me, Mob. Look at me and tell me. Tell me truthfully. Do I look cursed to you?”
Mob looks at him, and tells him truthfully. “No.”
“Well, you didn’t look very long,” says Reigen. “Let’s just stand here for a moment, like so, and you can have another look, a nice long look, and really think about it...”
(There's nothing strange about being called back to exorcise the same haunted photocopier six days in a row. It must just be a very haunted photocopier.)

Summary

And when the world around him is revealed to be a giant Palace, Goro is determined to use this new power of his to find out what's going on for the good of mankind, especially a certain rival-turned-friend... but what was supposed to be a journey toward redemption doesn't take long to shift into a series of adventures unlike anything Goro could have ever imagined.

One of my favorite fanfics of all time (or more like one of my favorite authors of all time). I, too, have been fixated on the game dialogue: “I reach out to him…but he doesn’t take my hand.” It’s such a telling moment, especially when it’s the final free-time event with him and you’ve supposedly “bonded”.
And I love that this fic explores Kokichi’s lack of trust in others (and other things of course, I’m just a simpleton). -

Summary
For once Zenitsu is the only one awake. Tanjiro and Inosuke lie comatose after their battle in the Entertainment district, and Zenitsu is alone, full of grief and regret. But things only get worse for Zenitsu when word reaches the Butterfly Mansion of people going missing in Osaka. A large group of demons are on the prowl, and the local demon slayers can't catch them.
Shinobu dispatches Kanao to hunt them down and chooses Zenitsu to be her guide, and to help her learn to communicate, if they have the time. But this is more than a mission for Zenitsu, and it's not the real demons he's scared of this time. He must reflect on how far he's come since joining the Demon Slayer Corps, and whether he's turning into the man he wants to be.
He's going to the one place he swore he'd never go. Zenitsu is going home.

This is peak. Not even peak fanfiction, this is just peak fiction. You basically just wrote an entire arc for the series that actually filled in some missing gaps for the characters and story and actually made me feel attached to the idea of Zenitsu and Kanao being friends.

Albus Dumbledore rose to his feet, smiling at them in that way of his, like he knew something you didn't and he was proud of you for it. "Friends," he began.
The door thudded open and the Marauders burst in, late and pink-cheeked with cold. The headmaster smiled at them, too, and Sirius gave a cheery little salute back.
Severus sunk lower in his chair, staring witheringly over his butterbeer. "You told Potter about it, too?"
"He might as well put all that energy to good use," said Lily. "And, to be accurate, I told Remus."
"But Potter, really?" said Severus.
"He and Black cooked up a jinx that gives you a boil every time you say a slur to a Muggleborn," said Lily. "It was either invite them to Alice's war club or bake them cookies, and I know where my skills lie."
Severus sniffed. "Don't come crying to me if he tugs your pigtails."
"Come crying to me if he pulls yours, and I'll deck him," said Lily.
(Slight AU in which Severus apologizes, tries harder, and stays friends with Lily)
