The bottom line is, Stan doesn’t like him like that. This is purely transactional. It’s a win-win, like he’d said in the closet. The more Kyle thinks about it, the simpler it is.
Stan isn’t at any risk of catching feelings; he’s viewing this entire endeavour as a way to get where he needs to be, and being the decent guy he always has been, wants to ensure Kyle gets something out of it too. He’s overthinking this. Making it harder than it has to be. He always does that.
Having fallen out of friendship through one circumstance or another, Stan and Kyle are forced into a closet together, before they can come stumbling out. Literally, then metaphorically.

He punches first, he tries to get the last word, he thinks he's always right and he's not shy about liking hanging out with him and needing a reason for not doing so. And Craig likes him a whole lot but, as said, he’s a chicken and can't ask Tweek what they are now, if he’s the only one who can feel his own heart flip.
It's not a problem, though, because Tweek is afraid of many things, but not Craig, or his feelings.

Stan rolls his eyes at Cartman, glancing over at that bright green ushanka hat in the distance, and his heart began to race. Ever since Wendy broke up with him, she helped him realize the root of all their problems. Stan never truly did love Wendy, his heart yearned for someone else, someone that would probably never be his despite his unwillingness to admit it.
Stan shakes his head softly, denying the feelings bubbling inside, "He's not looking at me, Cartman. Face it, our friendship was ruined a long time ago."
