Nightshade. I did not need to search in Azure's books to find the symbolic meaning the flower bore. Those were Azure's favorites—of course I would remember.
My nightshade. My betrayal, and my death.
Azure halted.
“Devot—devote. As you… have done to me.”
“I don't understand.”
His heart squelched as he forced me to hold it tighter.
“Sacrifice,” he whispered.
OR: The ritual works, but Azure doesn't come back quite the same. Two Time has to learn how to love these changes, or find a way to get rid of them and make him return anew.

Summary
A quick secondchance oneshot, where Chance hosts a game night in the cabin, every survivor participating in casino games late into the night. With no money to bet, Chance doesn't think it's as fun as it could be, but they all still have a blast. Each survivor ends up leaving to sleep, one by one, until Two Time and Chance are the only two left at the table.
Despite his previous promise of no stakes, Chance offers a bet.

Summary
Chance always had an uncanny level of luck whether it be winning at poker or scratching off a winning lottery ticket it would happen. That luck had never extended to people before until one day he ran into a cultist turned god running from the very mafia he had entangled himself in.
Two Time had always considered themselves one of the top students in the church from their grades to their very name being a devotion to the Spawn. That all was destroyed when they were told to sacrifice Azure and instead had sacrifice the Spawn himself before fleeing the cult. Ending up in a casino hunted by mafia hired by those who they once considered family.
Tldr: Chance meets Two Time in his casino and is smitten enough to fight the mafia. Itrapped is not impressed. Mafioso is. Azure is lost in the woods.

The high disciple freezes in their place before snapping back. They spin around and lower their head in greeting.
“Yes, teacher.” They don’t look up. They don’t have permission to. “I have done my duty.”
“Very good,” Amarah intones. He turns to Azure, letting out a curious sound in acknowledgement. “Oh? Who may this be?”
The fire pops loudly, showering sparks into the air. The chanting falters as the eyes are on the trio.
“An outsider, teacher. He assisted me in gathering the firewood when I was delayed in the forest,” they say, relaxing their body to avoid suspicion. “He said he was interested in Spawnism.”
Azure’s eyes widen slightly as they kick at the cultist’s leg. He clearly does not agree to it, but thankfully for the two of them, Amarah does not catch on.
