“Is this about Charles?” she asked, lowering her voice. Carlos sighed heavily and put his knife down. He looked at her with an expression not even he could place.
“Why would this be about Charles?” he asked a little more coldly than he intended as he turned around and turned on one of the burners on the stove. Ana sighed but followed him anyway.
“I can see it all over your face, Carlos,” she said. “When we were on the veranda earlier, he was telling a story. You were looking at him like he hung the goddamn moon.”

“Maybe you’re into age play then”, he pushes closer, so their faces are only inches apart, “do you want me to call you daddy?”, the air between them feels like it’s on fire as Carlos breathes out a hot laugh, giving another miniscule shake off the head.
“Then tell me”, Charles demands and waits as Carlos seems to consider him for a moment, before leaning forwards so his lips are next to his ear, his breath hot against his skin, sending shivers cascading down his body.
