“Dick and Kori used to slow dance a lot.” He continued, opening up to her. “I’d sleep over their apartment sometimes. Bruce didn’t really like leaving me home alone, I think he was worried about someone getting in while he was gone. So, I’d sleep in the guest room at Dick and Kori’s apartment. And they’d slow dance all the time.”
Rose nodded, “They seem like the type.”
“Yeah. I remember one time, I had come to the kitchen for water, and Dick had gotten back from patrol. He and Kori were just… swaying. No music or anything. They just found their own rhythm. It was… kind of annoying, actually. How sweet they were. But it was nice.”
“Does that make us annoying, now?” Rose teased, cupping his face in her hands. His stubble was rough on her palms.
“Well, we aren’t bothering anybody.” Jason stated simply, resting his head on top of hers.
“Then are you sure you’re getting the full experience?” She chuckled, placing a quick kiss onto his collarbone.
