    A series of dialogue. A set of numbers.

    After a slew of countless RESETs, Flowey is driven out of sheer desperation to commit a taboo he has never tried before.

    While Papyrus vows to try to help and understand his friend…the truth comes to light when Flowey expresses that he will never feel the same way any other monster can.

    Flowey comes up with his own solution for this, and it's not a pleasant one. But apparently that's okay since consequences are usually beyond Flowey.

    …But now things are suddenly escalating beyond his control. Not that Papyrus ever had any control to begin with.

    Flowey, the Human…is who is in control really the point?

    …So then…what's left?

    Only the Pretty Poppy can decide now.

    ‘If it makes you feel any better, I’ve had this before. It’ll either work or it won’t, and it shouldn’t hurt. Feel strange maybe, but not painful.’

    An outright lie, but the sentiment was sincere for Flowey. The nature of its creation was different from the Amalgamates, and it had never suffered the injection of Determination while fully conscious. It was frustrating then that Papyrus picked up on the rare moment of honesty from the Flower, as that seemed to be the final push he needed to ingest the liquid.

    -

    Gaster feels a call across the void and can't help but answer, leading him to witness one of Flowey's biggest mistakes and one of Papyrus' greatest sacrifices.
