Summary
In the aftermath of a disastrous Override incident, Ali is left emotionally shattered and ostracized by the very agents he once called comrades. With MATA viewing him as a liability, trust in him deteriorates — even as his intentions were never malicious. Once a rising star, Ali now walks the cold hallways of the Academy in silence, ignored, blamed, and broken.
His only friend left, Viktor — a civilian with no ties to MATA — begins to notice the changes: Ali's week-long absence, his growing silence, and deepening depression.
