Celestial decide to take matters into their own hands and destroy Teyvat. Half the population have been wiped out, and the other half was left to either hide or be killed by the apocalyptic world Teyvat was left in. Diluc, along with the volunteers of his intelligence network, had managed to gather what’s left of the people of Mondstadt to hide in the underground caves that Diluc had built long ago for the intelligence network to use as their hideout. Five years flew by and Diluc finally decides it’s time he goes out to witness what Teyvat has become. In a desperate attempt to leave Dragonspine he runs into Dottore, who happens to be alive as well. Semi-compliant to canon, semi-AU.
__________Dottore is not a tall man; he’s only slightly taller than the average and he is terribly skinny. But the way he presents himself often makes Diluc feel incredibly small.
“I often could only kiss the corner of your lips.”
Dottore turns around. “Do you wish otherwise?”
He tips his toes without a word and lifts his lips close to Dottore’s face. But the doctor slips his fingers in front of his face, covering the only patch of skin that’s visible from his mask.
Diluc retracts as if he’s been scorched.
