Of course, Yuuji met someone as cool as Fushiguro by making a complete fool of himself. Only idiots break stuff in stores. Yuuji will never forget about this day for as long as he lives. He’ll be in bed late at night, trying to fall asleep, and then his brain will conjure images of this moment, laughing and mocking him. Remember when you embarrassed yourself in front of that super cool and mysterious Target employee named Fushiguro? He probably thought you were a total loser!
Yuuji will never live this down.

Summary
from the moment Itadori Yuuji swallowed Sukuna's finger, he had no issue in containing the curse. If anything, sometimes Itadori forgot there was even an cursed spirit living inside of him. It was that easy too contain Sukuna.
Itadori felt the same before and after he had swallowed the finger, it didn't cause any physical damage or side effects too his body aside from the disgusting taste left on his tongue till he brushed his teeth.
Overall life with Sukuna wasn't so bad and proved itself too be easier than one would expect with a curse living inside them.
Until around three weeks ago.
Yuuji realizes Sukuna is a force too be reckoned with.
-Yuuji's control on Sukuna was slipping from between his fingers, and his body was suffering from it. He doesn't have a clue in the world as too why this is happening till Gojo makes him realize something he's never even thought about it.

(Even when Yuuji threatens to bring Sukuna out—as if there is anything left to destroy—Satoru refuses. One mistake has stolen years and the world as he knew it away from him. He doesn't want to make another. Not when his Six Eyes can no longer tell where Yuuji ends and Sukuna begins, or if Sukuna was there at all.)
When he is finally released, when he finally sees how far his mistake has gone, he feels like a fool for once thinking himself untouchable.

The elders scheme again, deliberately sending the first year students on a mission ranked higher than they can handle, all in a bid to try and kill Yuuji. Only this time, Nobara and Megumi get caught in the crossfire. Yuuji blames himself, the usually upbeat teen breaking down and admitting some hard truths, and all Gojou can do is hold him through it all.
The teen is hunched over, knees drawn up to his chest, arms wrapped around them tightly. Gojou isn’t prepared for what happens next, when Yuuji looks at him with eyes brimming full of unshed tears and says, “Do you hate me, Sensei?”
How could he ever think Gojou would hate him? The question makes the sorcerer’s heart clench painfully, and before he knows what’s happening, he’s moving to sit on the sofa and pull Yuuji into a crushing hug.
