Sonic would only need to hibernate for three months.
That’s what he had to keep reminding himself as Sonic went kicking into hibernation. His only other comfort, besides a cozy burrow hidden away from the prying world, was the favor he’d asked of his long-time rival, Shadow. With that hybrid genetics and Chaos in his veins, Shadow wouldn’t need to bed down for the winter storm of the century.
Just three months without the blue hedgehog. That was it.
Shadow only managed two weeks before he went to check on him.

Summary
It's been 10 years since Sonic last saw Shadow, and in that decade, life had not been kind. He's stumbling through adulthood with no sense of direction or purpose, crumbling under the existential dread of aging, and to top it off, is suffering through an exhausting divorce process. Just as his whole world seems to be collapsing around him, however, an old friend returns... And might just be the lifeline he didn't realise he needed.
Now Sonic is having to navigate adulthood, heartbreak, grief and whatever these new (or maybe old) feelings are for his ex-rival. The strangest part is that Shadow seems to be the stable, emotionally competent one. What he doesn't know is that shadow is hiding a secret of his own- Ten years of feelings that he thought he'd let go of threatening to return.
This is a future-set Sonadow slow -burn where Sonic and Shadow reconnect after a decade of no contact. A mix of hurt/comfort, slice-of-life, humour, drama, fluff and spice (eventually). Themes include grief, romance, friendship, aging panic, unconditional love/care, and a flipped dynamic- Sonic is the one falling apart, and Shadow is the one who’s already healed.

Summary
Thanks to his job as an underpaid stagehand, Sonic is among the lucky few to meet his celebrity crush: the reclusive lead singer-songwriter of internationally famous rock band, Dark.
Shadow, on the last stop of their latest international tour, meets a handsome, friendly, extroverted stagehand who happens to be a talented hobby keyboardist.
Both secretly fall in love, and Shadow finds himself obsessed as they grow closer through music, but their budding relationship might be doomed if Shadow can't overcome the fear and emotional scars of his past. Fortunately, Sonic isn't the type to give up on anyone (even at their lowest).
