“Come on Joel, you need to get up! We don't know where we are and there was this piece of paper on the ground that makes no sense.”Jimmy said as he shook Joel to try and get him up.
Joel sat up in the blink of an eye confused about what Jimmy meant when he said we. "Jim, what on earth are you bloody talkin' about?” Joel said as his eyes adjusted to the bright sunlight blaring in his eyes, but before Jimmy could respond with an answer he saw what he meant when he said we.
14 people were standing and sitting on the ground. Joel knew a lot of these people, they were his friends.

Summary
Joel was not the type of person to wait for something once he knew what he wanted it would be his goal to get it. So when the hermits came to the land of empires, the only thing on Joel's mind was Etho. Joel traveled through dimensions by sleeping. He doesn't do it often, but they're like dreams, some you don't wake up from for a while, others there are small little rests that don't last long. Most people can't remember their travels while sleep hopping, but Joel can always seem to remember every moment from kingdom craft to the mcc’s he remembers it all. Joel doesn't talk about this to others, but he can tell that almost nobody else can remember any other series that once existed. Other than Jimmy, Jimmy uses a different way to travel through dimensions, but he won't tell Joel whenever he asks, but Jimmy can remember what happens in every server he's in just like Joel. They both know this but no longer talk about it because it can be an uncomfortable conversion to talk about. The only problem was Joel didn't know how Etho traveled through dimensions meaning he could remember Joel or he can't remember Joel, but Joel guessed there's only 1 way to find out and that's meeting Etho.

Scar was raised by a village that learned not to trust royalty.
When officials come to collect what it is not owed, Scar says no, and they reluctantly listen.
However, it is discovered that Scar is of royal blood.
By order of the Crown, Scar is taken from the river and brought to the castle.
The court hires another Prince to teach him proper manners and behaviour.
He is everything Scar distrusts. Flawless, patient and seemingly willing to be controlled.
He stands up for Scar, helps him when needed.
And Scar begins to wonder what the Crown took from him first.

This is a collection of short stories that happened years before the canon events in "The Whole Being Dead Thing: Except I'm not" the work before this one. It would probably be good to have that knowledge before entering this fic, but it isn't needed if you really aren't into horror.
