The first time Bucky met his Alpha he was thirteen.
Him, and all the other little omega boys were lined up the great hall of the Omega Academy, dressed up prettily in their uniforms, long skirts slitted to the hip and long sleeved sheer tops, as rich families chose high pedigree omegas for their noble children.
It is tradition, that when a Nobel Alpha turns twenty, for them to receive their Omega, one trained from the age of thirteen to obey, respect and respond to their every command. Custom made to their Alpha master's wants and needs. They pick them at sixteen, so that by the time they are twenty, the slaves will be trained, and at the age of heat.
Steven, had just turned 16.

Bucky Barnes is a 19 year old Omega, and now that he's completed his freshman year, he's ready to offer his virginity to Alpha Steve Rogers, his college Professor. He's been dreaming about it all year, and now, despite his best friend Nat trying to stop him, telling him he's going to embarrass himself, Bucky knows what he wants. Bucky Barnes is a decorated (though young) Sergeant in the United States Army, a Ranger with the 75th regiment, a sniper of unparalleled skill; he still expects his first day as an Avenger to be challenging.
He expects the transition to be hard work. He expects some training wheels. He is not at all prepared for the greatest challenge to be one hot as fuck, steely eyed, Colonel Rogers. More specifically, he is not expecting the greatest challenge to be keeping his dick under control whenever Colonel Rogers, with his broad shoulders and his authoritative command and his fucking thick, gorgeous beard, enters into Bucky's immediate vicinity.
Even more specifically, Bucky is not expecting to be rendered a drooling pile of rock hard, fall-to-his-knees, full-body-shiver human disaster every time Colonel Rogers closes in, with that look in his eye and that smooth fucking voice, and calls Bucky, son.
Yep, so it's Bucky's first day as an Avenger, and so far, as challenges go? Bucky is 0 for 2.

Before Steve was given the serum and changed forever, he fucking hated the doctor. He could never put his finger on if it was worse when the so-called professional openly pitied him for his chronic ailments or when they mumbled and bitched under their breath about how "unfit" he was.
After Steve's given the serum—well, okay, the first time? It's clearly a fluke. Steve hates the doctor! He knows this about himself. It's 1943, and he's just overwhelmed by how the serum has transformed his body. He's not in his right mind. In 2011? It's, again, just an influx of sensations after being dulled for years and years. 2014? There's good reason there, too! C'mon, it's Bucky. Oh, wait, it happens in 2016? 2017, too!? Uh. Well. Maybe—
