Peter shakes his head. Ned is busy upstate - probably canoodling with his new girlfriend - and won't be here in time. The appointment is in less than an hour. Peter needs help right now. If he could wait and reschedule, he absolutely would, but the appointment requires a special set up for his high metabolism: expert doctors, high levels of drugs, and lots of preplanning if they want to get it finished before his body heals.
He has no choice but to ask Michelle for help. Even if it means she gets to deal with the absolute mess of his drug-induced state after.

Peter Parker swears Michelle flirted with him. She complimented his biceps - something he's mostly been trying to hide since she started staying here. His body is rippling with muscles and experience from his evening job, but letting anyone else see them risks his identity.
But quarantine has made him lazy. He's been stuck in a haze from being stuck at home for so long. He appreciates that he has a friend to spend it with, but there's only so long he can keep himself from swinging around the city without going stir crazy. He just couldn't bother to pull on a t-shirt this morning.
But she saw his muscles. She complimented them even - saying that he should save all the sex appeal for his girlfriend. He's never heard her flirt before, but it seems like the type of thing she'd say to a potential partner.
The compliment goes right to his dick.

It's not that Peter wants to collect human things. He has enough human things that have washed into the ocean over the years, mostly from beach parties and disrespectful boat owners who dump their trash into the waters of his people. The Parker Trove isn't too far away from civilization, so these things tend to show up from time to time around his house.
But there is something about the humans that he can't resist. The two-legged build wondrous technology-filled havens that reach to the sky. Cities filled with towering skyscrapers and moving pictures. Their devices allow them to communicate from any place in the world. He's seen it close up before.
