Summary
The Lady Riyo Chuchi is stuck between a rock and a hard place.
The war has pushed her home province of Pantora to the brink, and the once happily unattached Riyo is scrambling to marry well in order to save the populous from starvation and fleets of traveling marauders that plague their shoreline in the absence of their navy.
Unfortunately for Riyo, gentlemen who share her anti-war sentiments hold little sway in the war-obsessed senate. While she is prepared to sacrifice herself for the good of her countrymen, that doesn't mean she relishes the idea.
Enter Marshal Commander Fox of the Coruscant Gaurd, a man whose sturdy presence and gentle demeanor make her heart flutter and her knees go weak. Suddenly, all Riyo can think about is him.
But he's a homunculus created for the war effort. Even if he felt the same way she did, he has no money and nothing to his name save the clothes on his back. It would never work out... would it?

Summary
With Lucius imprisoned, Narcissa hears whispers of what Voldemort has planned for her son. She throws the dice and rekindles an old alliance, dragging Draco from one side of the looming war into the grey and foggy middle.
A traitor to his housemates, and suspect to the rest of the school, Draco faces the school year as a social pariah. Perhaps that’s what he needs: some time alone, in his own head, to figure out where he stands.
Or perhaps he needs to befriend three very loud and very bossy young women.
This is how he could make it through the year. A hard brick wall fortified around him, protecting him from Crabbe and every other Slytherin who thought of him as a blood traitor. And a soft gaze for the rest of them, unfocused in his periphery. Polite and courteous and held at arm’s length.
His eyes found movement, but it wasn’t the Snitch at all.
Détente arrived with not so much as an easing as a smashing with a mallet. The perpetrator was slender and five-foot-two on a good day, though not for lack of trying, considering her genetics and the volume of her food consumption. She was already fully dressed for battle, broom over her shoulder like a weapon.
