Summary
"I'm not wearing this," Thomas said, holding up a floral-print button-down that looked like a tropical garden had exploded on it. "This shirt has more colors than my entire emotional spectrum."
"Put it on," Snowbird's voice crackled through one of the speakers. "The floral reads as 'approachable' and 'fun.' You need all the help you can get."
Thomas glared at the ceiling. "If this ends with me falling in love on national television, I'm blaming you."
Snowbird's laugh echoed through the speaker. "Oh, Thomas. That's exactly what I'm counting on."

Blackmailed to join a reality dating show by Snowbird, Thomas finds himself promptly falling for the last contestant to arrive— a quiet, grey-eyed disaster who laughed at his stupid joke and is also the most beautiful person he's ever seen.

Summary
This couldn't be happening. This had to be some horrible hallucination induced by the myriad of drugs forced into his system before the round. This wasn't real. No, please God, don't let this be real.
Till squeezed his eyes shut and took a stuttering breath. Silence. Eerie silence.
Why was it so quiet? Why had no sentinels come to put Till's collar back on and drag him away? Why was Ivan's lifeless body still here and not tossed in a pile somewhere with all the others who had been executed for the aliens' entertainment?
That had to mean this wasn't real, right?
But, Till could still feel the phantom of fingers around his throat, the ghost of desperate lips against his own, and when he opened his eyes again, he still saw pure white stained with crimson red, the sacred corrupted.
Ivan and Till are rescued after their round. Till must navigate the confusing feelings he's faced with in the aftermath.

Summary
“Ugh — you’re quite the tough one,” Saps groaned. The gun creaked between the vampire’s teeth as he strained against the vampire’s grip. The creature’s breath smelled like a disastrous cacophony of rust and wet earth, its bloodied fingers digging into his soldiers hard enough to bruise even through the padded coat. Saps could feel the cold press of the muzzle against the vampire’s tongue, and he could also taste gunpowder and sweat in his own mouth. One wrong movie, and he’d either lose the gun or his fingers.
── ⋆⋅ ♰ ⋅⋆ ──
A commission goes wrong, resulting in Saps struggling to fight back a powerful vampire.
Luckily (or unluckily, it's anyone's guess), Flux is always there to be Saps's savior.

Summary
“I wish it didn’t have to end this way,” Saparata breathes at last, the words trembling on the cusp between confession and collapse. They linger—half vapor, half lament—before dissipating into the desolation that encircles them.
“It could not have gone any other way,” Fluixon replies, voice soft yet tectonic, resonating as though the air itself were an instrument of his decree. “I am but an architect, despite what they say. This story—our story—is my cathedral.”
“Flux—”
Fluixon cuts across the syllable, his gaze incandescent with the lucidity of the dying. “And you, my dearest Saps,” he murmurs, “you are the god we worship—terrible, radiant, unknowable. Every prayer I have ever uttered has been a scream in your name.”
Alternatively, Saparata and Fluixon wonder if their obsession is driven by hatred or love.
