Summary
The Kiss Of Unlife is ancient magic meant to be used on a fresh corpse to keep it in a life-like Snow-White-esque state. The caster imbues a body with their own magic, which replaces the newly vacated soul.
Only, Harry was still alive when Voldemort tried to preserve her. The result was a magical miracle baby conceived through a single kiss. Harry vanished. Voldemort searched. Everybody else was told she had died.
Until 5 years later, the truth surfaced in the sweetest way possible.
This is a short, shamelessly indulgent Fem!HarryMort story in 6 chapters and an epilogue.

Summary

Summary
Maybe, if Dumbledore hadn't been so quick to sweep Harry's first murder under the rug, Harry might have thought on it hard enough to feel regret. Instead, Dumbledore, as a trusted authority figure, assured the young boy saviour that he did no wrong.
Had Dumbledore been in any way competent at child rearing as opposed to training child soldiers, Harry would not have ended up making an accidental horcrux. Voldemort would still be insane. Nagini would have no hope of ever having grand-hatchlings to dote on.
(Harry somehow winds up in the middle of a ritual circle just as Voldemort is finishing the ritual to make another horcrux. Voldemort tries to backpedal. All he succeds in is becoming Harry's horcrux. Which might have been reversible had Harry not been harboring a secret in his scar.)

Unknown to most, Celtic folklore is not the only place one will find beings similar to Selkies and Swan Maidens. The Greek pantheon has their own Sirens. Aphrodite saw him in the dark of night, Seirene Perseus, scaled skin shining in Phoebe's moonlight. Aphrodite was fond of mischief, and upon seeing Phoebus' gaze upon the Destroyer, she saw the opportunity for what it was. With a flick of her wrist, the boys skin flew into the Sun's hands by the grace of Zephyros.
(basically i combined selkie/swan maiden coats and sirens and then made this all Apollo and Percy's problem)

Summary
When Percy turned four, Sally Jackson sat him down and told him to never ever let anyone get their hands on his coat.
“Always hide in plain sight, Perseus,” She told him, taking his feathered coat and shaking it out until it became a blue raincoat. “Humans can be quite stupid nowadays. They forget the stories of us, and we need to be thankful for that. Never swim naked, never forget your raincoat, and never ever let someone hold your coat.”
Percy had the urge to grab his coat and go hide in his room when his mom brought home Smelly Gabe for the first time, but he didn’t. He sat on the couch and pretended to tolerate the man. A precious cloak is a far bigger target than a random old coat. Hiding in plain sight.
